Question: What does Ephesians 4:11 mean?
“And He Himself” refers to the subject of “Spiritual Gifts”; the Giver being the Risen Christ Jesus!
Ephesians was written approx. AD 62, approx. the time of Israel’s denial of Jesus as their Messiah; which put an end to the early return of Jesus; and placed the Jews into the condition of “Lo-Ammi” (not My people), which condition will remain until Zech. 12:10!
The last 7 letters of Paul apply until the nation of Israel is again “Ammi”!
